Lately I've been doing a bit more active, physical stuff in hopes of losing a bit of weight (goal of 115 lbs, about 7 to 8 more to go, woohoo!). Swing dancing (Lindy Hop and Blues) is now a weekly thing for me at LaB (Ethical Society Building, Rittenhouse Square). Thinking of going to their Jazz Attack session on Thursdays. Hopefully I'll have enough time once I start school. I'll probably only be able to stay until about 10pm for the dances since I need to commute back to Northeast Philly via Septa. That should be fun (and safe)....

Life as it is...
So I realize I haven't made a post in awhile. I've been extremely busy with work and I'll be ending my co-op/internship next Wednesday and going back to to classes on the next next Monday. Last Labor Day weekend I took a trip down to Ocean City Maryland and NYC, both for one day. I don't think I'll be able to take a break like that until maybe Christmas rolls around. /sad face

Also been running and biking (Bike Philly tomorrow, can't wait!) and I think I've gotten to the point where I have to run at least once every three days. Before all this I was only able to do 1 mile in 15~16 minutes (yeah, I know, lame) but now I that got the right clothes and running shoes (this makes a HUGE difference), I can do a mile in 10 minutes. I would've been able to pass the mile test in high school (which I failed by the way)! Now it actually feels GOOD after a run. Now I know what people mean by the runner's high. Also the best meal in the world is after a good run. Here I had a Wawa Protein Pack at work and sunny side up eggs after my run this morning.
