The Weekly

The Weekly will from now on be my weekly photo post of random things that don't really fit anywhere else. May be a bit more artsy fartsy than other posts. No captions will be needed.

Massive Review of Pens/Pencils and a Handwriting Analysis (somewhat)

So I just want to put it out there that I am a stationery snob. I love trying out new writing utensils and different types of stationary. I’m very picky about the kind of pen I use and the type of paper I write on. What I’ve gathered from my analysis is the following things:
Likes:
  • ballpoint pens
  • writing tip of 0.7, no more, no less
  • unlined, unmargined paper
  • smooth paper + ballpoint OR rough paper + rollerball/gel
Dislikes:
  • thin paper + <0.5 tipped pens
  • wide ruled paper (who doesn’t?)
  • felt tip pens (comparable to the feeling of rubbing Styrofoam pieces together *shudder*)
This can probably all be attributed to the fact that I write with a lot of pressure on paper and with somewhat large wording. My words also seem to clump together a lot and I tend to switch up between script and print. I’m not really sure how to do a handwriting analysis but from what I know (yay for Google), my handwriting shows that I am cluttered, unorganized, and have a lot of anger/resentment. My writing can also be a bit bubbly at times (meaning the loops in my letters are round and large comparable to the lines) which shows that I am a bit naive and immature. So nothing good about me has come from this analysis. Maybe I could say my preference for unlined paper shows that I am carefree and unrestricted (or that I could be spouting total bullshit). Anyways, my analysis is nothing without the actual writing itself so onto the pen reviews!

Random Rambles

Well, it's been a month since my last post (you can tell I'm the kind of person who updates frequently). I have a whole backlog of things I want to say but it seems everything has gone in and over my head as usual. So let's go onto pics!

Alpacas at Kimberton Fair. THEIR FUR IS SO SOFT.  I WANT ONE AS A PET  SO I CAN HUG IT FOREVER. (Loved the one in the back with all the fur in its face; the one in front just kept on salivating everywhere)
